It's a New Training Year!
September is a few days away, we hope you had a wonderful summer! As we kick off the new training year, I would like to inform you about the upcoming events.
September 7 - Parent/Admin Night (for current cadets)
The first night back at 180 is for all current cadets. You are required to attend an administration night on Friday, September 7, at Denison Armoury (map). The night runs from 1830 hrs to 2030 hrs, and dress is casual (no uniform). You are required to come with a parent and bring your health card. If your health card is expired or expiring soon, you must get a new one as soon as possible. Parents and cadets will be filling out and signing verification forms (as we do every September), as cadets cannot participate in any cadet activities until the forms are completed and submitted to the Administration Officer (CI Arrowsmith).
September 14 - Recruit Information Session (for incoming/new cadets)
We will be having our first information session for recruits starting at 1900 hrs at Glenview Public School (map). New cadets and parents are invited to come down to get information about our squadron and recruit application process. The application package is available here. Please ensure you bring the completed package, documents, and appropriate photocopies to the meeting. The Recruit Officer (CV Percy-Robb) will be on hand to answer any questions.

Fall Tagging 2018
We will be tagging (fundraising) the week of September 20-23, 2018. This is where we make most of the money to run 180 Sqn's training program, so it's important that all cadets show up. This is mandatory for all cadets.
If you already got a tag-box and a spot for Thursday, then be at that spot by 17:30 and text the Sqn cell (416-890-1964) when you arrive to let us know you're there.
All other cadets must meet at the Royal Canadian Legion at the following times:
● Thursday 20 September at 1730 hrs (finish at 2100 hrs)
● Friday 21 September at 1730 hrs (finish at 2100 hrs)
● Saturday 22 September at 1000 hrs (finish at 1700 hrs)
● Sunday 23 September at 1000 hrs (finish at 1700 hrs)
Cadets must be in full uniform. If it's rainy and/or cold, be sure to wear the cadet parka (inner, outer, or both). Thermals can also be worn underneath the uniform, and any gloves or toques must be black.
